Nomina is a family of sans serif fonts for use from large to small sizes. The weights of the family itself contain 16 styles plus italic, ranging from ExtraLight to Black. The font family takes was inspired by classic Grotesk typefaces such as Venus and Akziden Grotesk. Resist Sans is a free-spirited neo-grotesque that embodies both the innate desire for revolt and a tendency towards uniformity. While Resist Sans preserves the neat, minimalist look which is associated with neo-grotesques, it also accentuates the tentativeness of each letter form. The name, too, hints at the rebellious character of the typeface. Resist Sans comes in 20 styles (10 uprights and matching obliques).
Text vs Display
Resist Sans comes in two versions: Display and Text, which serve different purposes but remain interchangeable and even complementary in some cases. Resist Text is equipped with deep ink traps and optical compensators, which really come into play at smaller sizes. Certain glyphs (such as 'f', 't' and 'l') are more narrow, which makes larger bodies of text more uniform and solid. The Display version features more contrast, especially when rounder glyphs like 'p' and 'd' are involved. The aforementioned 't', 'f', and 'l' are wider, more idiosyncratic. It's perfect for headlines and logos. However, we also kept the narrower glyphs in Resist Display—they are accessible via Stylistic Alternates (ss01); wider letters can also be accessed in the Text version via the ss01 feature.
Styles/Weights
Each of the two versions of Resist Sans comes in 5 weights (Thin to Bold) and is equipped with matching Obliques, which brings the total number of styles to 20. Two trial styles (Text Light and Display Medium Oblique) can be downloaded free of charge. Each style contains 870+ glyphs, awesome OpenType features, and more than 2500 kerning pairs.
Language Support
Resist Sans is truly multilingual. It supports most European and Latin-languages and features Extended Cyrillic, which gives access to such languages as Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Macedonian and many more.

Looking for a custom version of TT Runs?
The TT Runs project started with a fairly simple idea—to create a wide modern sans-serif, which will reflect the sporty style and look good on sportswear. Before proceeding to sketching, we examined the theme of Olympic venues and their identities, and also traced the evolution of “sports” typefaces through different eras and continents.
In the end, we came up with the idea of making a typeface that is targeted for application to elastic sports outfits or casual sportswear. This decision has greatly influenced the appearance of the wide and slightly stretched proportions in our typeface, the appearance of the reversed contrast of the shape of some characters relative to the vertical line and their deformation, and the overall plasticity of the letters.
TT Runs is very versatile: on the one hand, it is a regular sans-serif that can be used even in a large text array, and on the other hand, it is a bright display typeface with irregular proportions of characters that looks great even in large headings.
A striking feature of the typeface is the difference between the top and bottom, the so-called inverse contrast of the shape relative to the vertical line, which is especially noticeable in uppercase characters (for example, in the letters K, C, S, R). In lowercase characters, everything is calmer and more traditional, the reverse contrast of the forms relative to the vertical line is greatly softened and almost invisible.
The main visual features of the typeface also include a large vertical height of lowercase characters. Moreover, the bolder the weight of the style, the taller the height of the lowercase character becomes. In addition, when the DemiBold weight is reached, the design of some characters changes, for example, a vertical stroke in bold for characters with a dot at the top bends into an arc.
TT Runs consist of 20 styles: 9 upright & 9 obliques, plus 2 variable fonts, each of which includes 739 glyphs. In addition to the broad language coverage in the typeface, you can find a bunch of useful OpenType features. TT Alientz is a variable* typeface that allows the user to make a visual journey from a laconic extraterrestrial grotesque to a very prickly display serif. As part of this project, we decided to investigate the influence of a foreign substance and the consequent transformation of the original forms, which ultimately leads to extreme visual changes.
The TT Alientz family consists of 3 fonts: grotesque, serif and variable* font. Each font contains more than 470 glyphs. In addition to broad language support (including Cyrillic), the typeface has stylish ligatures, contextual alternates, and old-style figures. Variability in the typeface affects the changes in the overall style of the font—moving the slider to adjust the variable axis, you can go from a laconic grotesque to an extreme serif.
TT Alientz Grotesque is a fairly neat hipster grotesque, but with its own small features. In the design of some letters of the grotesque you can find small sharp elements that add uniqueness and character to the font when used in large inscriptions and headings. At the same time, when you use the font in a small size of the size and in text blocks, sharp elements do not greatly affect its readability. The design of some letters of the grotesque is quite peculiar and is intended to emphasize the initial concept of slight 'alienness'.
TT Alientz Serif is an 'infected' TT Alientz Grotesque and the result of changes to it. Unlike the grotesque, the serif is dynamic, viscous, ductile and very prickly. Serif has a lot of smooth lines and not quite standard strokes contrast. It can be noted that most serifs in the antiqua are pointed inward, not outward. Despite its extremeness, the serif will look good both in large and in small body sizes.
